How does it work?: We run a pipeline that ingests public content from GitHub, Stack Overflow, Hacker News and Bluesky using sanctioned APIs. A 14-stage NLP pipeline clusters complaints into pain signals scored nightly by volume, growth, recency and cluster diversity.
Where does the data come from?: Four sources today: GitHub issues, Stack Overflow questions, Hacker News threads and Bluesky posts, each ingested continuously through their official APIs. These are the places where developers actually complain, which is exactly why they matter. New sources are already on the roadmap and will keep expanding the corpus.
How fresh is it?: Ingestion runs continuously. Scores are recomputed every night. Around 2,000 new signals land each week, and trending ones can surface within hours of a complaint going viral on Hacker News or getting linked from a popular GitHub issue.
How is this different from browsing HN or Reddit myself?: Scale, deduplication and scoring. We cluster complaints across four sources so you see the ranked signal, not the noise. And we score by distinct companies affected, not by upvotes, so loud does not beat real.

Is there a free trial?: No. The signal data is the product, so we cannot give it away without giving away the value. You can cancel in two clicks from the Stripe portal in your first week if it is not for you.
How do you handle privacy?: Author handles are pseudonymized with HMAC-SHA256 at ingestion. We never store real usernames or personal data, and GDPR Article 17 erasure is supported across the whole pipeline. We track market pain, not individual people.
